"A war for dwindling natural resources and rare earth elements has left the continent of Europe (and perhaps the rest of the world) in a state of social, and literal, decay. It has been decades since a unified government tied together BRITAIN, the setting of our drama, with some sense of order and morality.
While remnants of the ‘old’ world government remain in London, upholding old values of liberty, justice and democracy, the rest of the country has been divided into tribal territories, overseen by tyrannical warlords, each with their own ideological ideals of ‘law’ and punishment. They carve out their borders with violence and bloodshed.
One of these warlords is KING LEAR. "
This modern retelling of the classic tale of family folly, revenge and forgiveness was brought to the historic great hall of Goldsmtihs College, Cormac Joyce starred in the titular role.
